There’s now a dating site specifically for polygamists
If web entrepreneur Azad Chaiwala's dating site Polygamy. He's trying to take the idea of polygamy, which has deep roots in Muslim culture, and take it mainstream. The site, which launched in , closely mirrors the layout of other dating sites. You enter your age, location, status, physical attributes, bio, and what you're looking for. After registering, you're presented with a global list of users. On a free membership, you'll only see one profile picture. Just looking through the profiles, I noticed one thing: a lot of people are still skittish about saying exactly what type of relationship they're looking for. And if they do specifically name something, it aligns more closely to polyamory or some level of non-monogamy than polygamy, which involves multiple spouses. I warned Malcolm Turnbull and others of the Left that saying yes to same-sex marriage would make it hard to say no to polygamy. How could we say no to any three adults marrying once we've agreed to any two? A new dating site for Muslim polygamists suggests that argument is about to start.
Gini Chase is looking for a sisterwife. Since she met her husband, Randy, at a nightclub 17 years ago, the pair have enjoyed a string of, as she puts it, "threesomes and moresomes and crazy sex". Recently, however, they have been after something more serious: a partner to join them on a permanent basis.
